Monitoring and Tutoring

Challenges that work on the Monitoring and Tutoring Competency:

Personalising learning

The teacher defines the method of personal and academic guidance to monitor each of their students.

Student monitoring defines how the personal and academic guidance, management of the group, fostering of human relationships and personal development should take place. These actions allow teachers to fully get to know each student, and make personalised decisions according to each one’s characteristics, needs and interests.

Personalising Learning Challenge

This challenge provides the learning and development of skills to delve into the complex task of accompanying each student in their personal learning process, in a practical and reasoned manner, as well as facilitating the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation they need throughout the long and complex process of developing their competencies

This challenge comprises three skills:

1. PORTFOLIOS OF EVIDENCE FOR AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT

The objective of this skill is to incorporate the use of the portfolio of evidence for assessing each student’s progress depending on their possibilities, measuring the personal progress between the beginning and end of a learning process, during a specific period of time.
